Drag It Up in stores July 27th!
“During the course of the project... We stood in a giant echo-ey church and stared at each other. We stood in a tiny 8x8 room and stared at each other. We sang about satellites, stars, moonlight, cavities, death, cheating, Texas, friendship, parenthood, God and storms.”
Rhett has to be a Texas/Music MOL inspiration to this site . . . in some good and bad ways . . .

| MOL Review: TROY
Let's be honest here. You will not see this movie if you are a classicist and worried about how this film keeps the integrity of Homer's The Iliad. This film is for the ladies who want to see a lot of testosterone filled shots of skin and bravado. Or for men like me who do have a man crush on Brad. The greatest manly actor of my generation. You might appreciate this film if you liked Gladiator or better yet if you liked Bravehart.
The first five minutes of this film are worth the price of admission. If this does not get your blood pumping, you are not alive. Do not be late buying popcorn!!! This film has irritating narrative loopholes, weak filmography, slow parts, supermodel like wives for princes, and a wussy boy Orlando Bloom. He was so genius in the Lord of the Rings. He is extremely irritatingly soft in this film. I guess I am a sucker for the archetype male . . . But in the end, it kept my attention and I enjoyed it. And whether I was supposed to or not, I wanted Brad . . .errrr . . . Achilles to win every time.

| MOL has recently discovered from Stealth MOL Dduns the Genius of Dallas based:
 Williams Chicken
Their statement: "Dedicated to serve, grow and give back to the community"
MOL came up with the following statement in Vancouver, WA for his River Hoop Fest Basketball Tourny in 1994 - 1997:
"To serve, unify & give back to the community"
Naturally MOL feels some affinity here and I likey the chicken!!
Try it sometime

| NPR MOL:
I heard this on NPR today. Some jackass says:
"I am philosophically opposed to an SUV" . . . and goes on to say, "well, I live in Montana, so at least if I do buy an SUV, I won't feel so guilty about it".
Ok, MOL understands AND appreciates the concern for diminishing fossil fuels as well as global warming issues. But the tone of this high brow enviro nazi who is simply going to TALK about caring about the earth and then LIVE differently and go ahead and buy an SUV anyhow is really irritating. . . which leads me to wonder, is there less guilt to having an SUV in dallas vs Bozeman Montana. Or is just the appearance of being "correct" a little "better". Anything worse than a hypocritical enviro nazi??!!
Either way, this guy would probably snarl at my 1991 Ford Bronco
and therefore I find myself a bit defensive
